3. Processing Time

Most orders are processed within 1–2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays). You'll receive an email confirmation with tracking details once your order ships.

6. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking link via email. You can track your order in real time using the carrier's website. If you don't receive tracking within 3 business days of placing your order, please contact us.

7. Inspection on Delivery

Please inspect your order at the time of delivery. Open the packaging and check for visible damage before signing for the delivery (where applicable). If you notice any damage, refuse the delivery if possible and contact us immediately.

If damage is discovered after delivery, you must contact us within 48 hours with photos (see Section 9 below).

8. Missed Deliveries

If you're not home at the time of delivery:

  • Standard parcel orders: The carrier will follow their standard re-delivery or pickup procedure.
  • Large freight items (mattresses, bed frames): The carrier will typically call ahead to schedule a delivery window. Missed scheduled deliveries may incur a re-delivery fee.

Please ensure someone is available during the scheduled delivery window for large items.

9. Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your shipment arrives damaged or is missing items:

  1. Take photos of the packaging and product immediately upon delivery.
  2. Email info@linaraliving.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number, photos, and description of the issue.
  3. We will work with the carrier and arrange a free replacement or, where appropriate, a refund.

For shipments marked "delivered" by the carrier but not received, please contact us within 7 days so we can investigate.

Damaged or defective items are handled at no cost to you and are separate from our Exchange Policy.

10. Address Changes

If you need to change your shipping address, contact us as soon as possible at info@linaraliving.com. We can usually update the address if the order has not yet shipped. Once an order is in transit, address changes may not be possible or may incur a re-routing fee.

11. Final Sale Reminder

All Linara Living orders are final sale. We offer a 30-day exchange policy on eligible products (see our Exchange Policy). Please review your order carefully before checkout — including size, model, and quantity — to ensure it meets your needs.

Exchange Policy

 At Linara Living, every order is carefully selected and prepared for you. All sales are final — we do not offer returns or refunds for change of mind, comfort preference, or any reason other than as described below.

However, we understand that sometimes you may need a different size, model, or product after receiving your order. To support our customers, we offer a 30-day exchange policy under the conditions outlined below.

1. Exchange Window

You may request an exchange within 30 days of delivery. Exchange requests submitted after 30 days will not be accepted.

2. What Can Be Exchanged

Eligible products for exchange include:

  • Mattresses (all sizes and models)
  • Bed frames and foundations
  • Pillows (unused, sealed packaging only)
  • Bedding and linens (unused, sealed packaging only)

To qualify for exchange, the product must be:

  • In clean, undamaged, and resaleable condition
  • Free from stains, tears, burns, odours, or signs of misuse
  • Returned with all original packaging, tags, and documentation
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
  • Originally purchased directly from linaraliving.com

3. What Cannot Be Exchanged

The following items are final sale and not eligible for exchange:

  • Hospital beds, medical mattresses, and medical-adjacent products (due to hygiene regulations)
  • Clearance or "Final Sale" items (clearly marked at the time of purchase)
  • Gift cards
  • Custom or made-to-order products
  • Items that have been used, washed, damaged, soiled, or modified by the customer
  • Pillows, bedding, or linens with broken/opened seals

4. Exchange Value

Exchanges are processed at the original purchase price of the returned item:

  • If you exchange for a product of equal value, no additional payment is required.
  • If you exchange for a product of higher value, you pay the difference.
  • If you exchange for a product of lower value, the difference will be issued as store credit (not refunded to your original payment method).

5. Exchange Shipping Costs

Shipping costs for exchanges are handled on a case-by-case basis depending on:

  • The reason for the exchange
  • Your delivery location
  • The size and weight of the item
  • Whether the original item was eligible for free shipping

Our team will communicate any applicable shipping costs before your exchange is processed, so there are no surprises. In some cases, customers may be responsible for return shipping of the original item, delivery of the replacement item, or both.

6. How to Request an Exchange

  1. Email info@linaraliving.com within 30 days of delivery with:
    • Your order number
    • The item(s) you wish to exchange
    • The replacement item(s) you'd like
    • Photos of the original item showing its current condition
    • A brief reason for the exchange
  2. Our team will respond within 1–2 business days with:
    • Exchange approval
    • Applicable shipping costs (case-by-case)
    • Pickup or return instructions
  3. Once the original item is received and inspected, your replacement item will be dispatched within 3–5 business days.

7. Damaged or Defective Items

This Exchange Policy does not apply to items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect. Those are handled separately and at no cost to you.

If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@linaraliving.com with:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the damage or incorrect item
  • A brief description of the issue

We will arrange a free replacement or full refund — your choice. This protection is in addition to your rights under Canadian consumer protection law.

8. Warranty Claims

Manufacturing defects that appear after delivery are covered separately under our Warranty Policy. Please refer to that page for warranty terms, coverage periods, and claim procedures.

9. Final Sale Acknowledgement

By placing an order with Linara Living, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • All sales are final.
  • No refunds will be issued except in the case of damaged, defective, or incorrect items.
  • Exchanges are offered as a courtesy under the conditions described above.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser from linaraliving.com and is non-transferable.

2. What the Mattress Warranty Covers

Linara Living warrants its mattresses against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, including:

  • Visible body impressions deeper than 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) that are not the result of an unsupported foundation or improper use.
  • Manufacturing defects in the foam, springs, cover, or stitching that cause the mattress to split, crack, or deteriorate prematurely under normal use.
  • Defects in the zipper or cover assembly that cause functional failure (not aesthetic wear).

3. What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal softening of foam or comfort changes that do not affect the support of the mattress.
  • Body impressions less than 1.5 inches deep.
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, improper handling, or failure to follow care instructions.
  • Damage from an inadequate foundation or improper bed frame (mattresses must be supported by a solid, slatted, or boxspring foundation with proper centre support).
  • Stains, burns, tears, cuts, or liquid damage.
  • Comfort preference — please refer to our Exchange Policy if you wish to exchange your mattress for a different model within 30 days of delivery.
  • Products purchased from unauthorized resellers.
  • Products sold "as-is," "final sale," or marked clearance.

4. Bed Frame & Foundation Warranty

Linara Living warrants bed frames and foundations against manufacturing defects, including:

  • Structural failure under normal use and weight load (within product specifications).
  • Defects in welding, joints, or hardware.
  • Splitting or cracking of wood or metal components not caused by misuse.

Not covered: cosmetic wear (scratches, scuffs, fabric pilling), damage from over-loading, improper assembly, or use outside intended purpose.

5. Pillow Warranty

Pillows are warranted against manufacturing defects, including:

  • Loss of structural integrity not caused by normal use.
  • Defects in stitching or fill containment.

Not covered: natural compression over time, staining, washing damage, or comfort preference.

6. Hospital Bed Warranty

Warranty terms for hospital beds and medical-adjacent products are specified on each product page and may vary by manufacturer. Please retain your invoice and product documentation for warranty service.

7. How to Make a Warranty Claim

  1. Email info@linaraliving.com with:
    • Your order number or proof of purchase
    • A description of the defect
    • Clear photographs showing the issue
    • For mattresses: photos of your bed frame/foundation showing how the mattress is supported
  2. Our team will review your claim within 5–7 business days and respond with next steps.
  3. If your claim is approved, Linara Living will, at our discretion:
    • Repair the defective product, or
    • Replace the defective product with a comparable model of equal or greater value.

Note: Cash refunds are not offered as a warranty remedy. Warranty claims are resolved through repair or replacement only, except where required by applicable Canadian or Alberta consumer protection law.

8. Warranty Conditions

To remain eligible for warranty coverage:

  • The product must be used on a supportive, manufacturer-recommended foundation or frame.
  • The original law tag must remain attached to the mattress.
  • The product must not have been resold, transferred, or used commercially (warranty is for residential, single-household use only).
  • Proof of purchase from linaraliving.com must be provided.

9. Shipping for Warranty Claims

If a warranty claim requires the product to be inspected or returned:

  • Within Alberta: Linara Living covers all pickup and replacement shipping costs.
  • Outside Alberta: Shipping costs for warranty service may be shared with the customer and will be communicated before service is scheduled.

10. Limitation of Liability

This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty offered by Linara Living. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linara Living disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Linara Living's liability is limited to repair or replacement as described above, and we are not liable for any incidental or consequential damages.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary by province under Canadian consumer protection law.

Cooling Comfort Foam is engineered with an open-cell structure and gel infusion that pulls heat away from your body, keeping the surface temperature regulated through the night. Traditional memory foam contours to your shape but tends to retain warmth. Most Linara mattresses combine both — a cooling top layer for breathability and a memory foam core for pressure relief and support.

Once unboxed, your Linara mattress will start expanding within minutes and reach about 90% of its shape within a few hours. We recommend giving it a full 24 to 48 hours to fully decompress before sleeping on it for the best feel. The faint "new mattress" smell is normal and dissipates within a few days.

Every Linara mattress is backed by a 10-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects, including issues with the foam, stitching, and structural integrity. The warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser. Full warranty terms are available on our policies page.

It depends on how you sleep. Side sleepers typically prefer our Premium Comfort range for added pressure relief at the shoulders and hips. Back and stomach sleepers tend to do better on firmer Essential Comfort models that keep the spine aligned.
