Exchange Policy

 At Linara Living, every order is carefully selected and prepared for you. All sales are final — we do not offer returns or refunds for change of mind, comfort preference, or any reason other than as described below.

However, we understand that sometimes you may need a different size, model, or product after receiving your order. To support our customers, we offer a 30-day exchange policy under the conditions outlined below.

1. Exchange Window

You may request an exchange within 30 days of delivery. Exchange requests submitted after 30 days will not be accepted.

2. What Can Be Exchanged

Eligible products for exchange include:

  • Mattresses (all sizes and models)
  • Bed frames and foundations
  • Pillows (unused, sealed packaging only)
  • Bedding and linens (unused, sealed packaging only)

To qualify for exchange, the product must be:

  • In clean, undamaged, and resaleable condition
  • Free from stains, tears, burns, odours, or signs of misuse
  • Returned with all original packaging, tags, and documentation
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
  • Originally purchased directly from linaraliving.com

3. What Cannot Be Exchanged

The following items are final sale and not eligible for exchange:

  • Hospital beds, medical mattresses, and medical-adjacent products (due to hygiene regulations)
  • Clearance or "Final Sale" items (clearly marked at the time of purchase)
  • Gift cards
  • Custom or made-to-order products
  • Items that have been used, washed, damaged, soiled, or modified by the customer
  • Pillows, bedding, or linens with broken/opened seals

4. Exchange Value

Exchanges are processed at the original purchase price of the returned item:

  • If you exchange for a product of equal value, no additional payment is required.
  • If you exchange for a product of higher value, you pay the difference.
  • If you exchange for a product of lower value, the difference will be issued as store credit (not refunded to your original payment method).

5. Exchange Shipping Costs

Shipping costs for exchanges are handled on a case-by-case basis depending on:

  • The reason for the exchange
  • Your delivery location
  • The size and weight of the item
  • Whether the original item was eligible for free shipping

Our team will communicate any applicable shipping costs before your exchange is processed, so there are no surprises. In some cases, customers may be responsible for return shipping of the original item, delivery of the replacement item, or both.

6. How to Request an Exchange

  1. Email info@linaraliving.com within 30 days of delivery with:
    • Your order number
    • The item(s) you wish to exchange
    • The replacement item(s) you'd like
    • Photos of the original item showing its current condition
    • A brief reason for the exchange
  2. Our team will respond within 1–2 business days with:
    • Exchange approval
    • Applicable shipping costs (case-by-case)
    • Pickup or return instructions
  3. Once the original item is received and inspected, your replacement item will be dispatched within 3–5 business days.

7. Damaged or Defective Items

This Exchange Policy does not apply to items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect. Those are handled separately and at no cost to you.

If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@linaraliving.com with:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the damage or incorrect item
  • A brief description of the issue

We will arrange a free replacement or full refund — your choice. This protection is in addition to your rights under Canadian consumer protection law.

8. Warranty Claims

Manufacturing defects that appear after delivery are covered separately under our Warranty Policy. Please refer to that page for warranty terms, coverage periods, and claim procedures.

9. Final Sale Acknowledgement

By placing an order with Linara Living, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • All sales are final.
  • No refunds will be issued except in the case of damaged, defective, or incorrect items.
  • Exchanges are offered as a courtesy under the conditions described above.
  • This policy does not affect your statutory rights under Canadian and Alberta consumer protection law.
